Andrew began his career in the building industry as an apprentice carpenter and joiner, acquiring post trade certificates in building. Throughout his career in the building trade, he obtained crane certificates moving his career full-time into the crane industry.
After a few years in the crane sector, Andrew worked for Morrow Equipment, the dealer for Liebherr Tower Cranes here in Australia at that time. During his tenure with Morrow Equipment, he was involved in Liebherr’s Marine Product and notably involved in the construction of the Liebherr 91EC Tower Crane in the Daintree Rainforest in 1998.
In 2011 Andrew joined Liebherr Australia as the National Sales Manager for the Mobile Cranes Division where he guided and supported his sales team for two years. In 2013 he was privileged to be offered the role of General Manager of the Mobile Cranes Division for Australia and New Zealand, which is the position he holds to date. He is also an active member on the Board of Directors for Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd.
As General Manager, Andrew manages 106 employees across sales, service and parts in Australia and New Zealand and is most inspired by supporting small families with the mobile crane products watching them develop and build their businesses.
Andrew is also a long serving member for the Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) and serves on the Board of Directors. Andrew was honoured in 2018 with the Hall of Fame Award in appreciation for his significant contributions to the crane industry.
