Andreas Cremer

Based at the Manitowoc factory in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, Andreas Cremer is the Global Product Director for Grove all-terrain cranes. A leading authority on mobile crane engineering, his role encompasses global responsibility for directing all product launches and updates for Grove GMK cranes. He joined Manitowoc back in 2004 as a Product Specialist before moving to the company’s plant in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania, U.S., in 2007 to work as a Product Manager for mobile cranes in the Americas.

 After three years in the U.S., Andreas returned to Germany to take on a new role as Project Manager with responsibility for special projects. During this time he was instrumental in the development of several notable Grove cranes, including the GMK3060 allterrain and RT550E rough-terrain crane. Since 2014 he has been Manitowoc’s Global Product Director for all-terrain cranes.

 Originally from Germany’s iconic Black Forest, Andreas studied Commercial Engineering at Wilhelmshaven University, graduating in 2004. He lives close to Wilhelmshaven with his wife and their twin girls
